Metropolitan Adelaide covers a lot of very different building conditions. Established inner suburbs mean tight blocks, narrow access and neighbours close enough to notice everything. Newer estates on the fringe mean open blocks but long runs between sites.
Both need a contractor who turns up when they said they would. That is the part that does not change with the postcode.
Tight access is normal, not an excuse
Infill and knockdown rebuild work across the inner and middle suburbs regularly means a block with a single narrow access point and no room to stage anything. We plan around it rather than treating it as a reason for a variation.
