Slab cleanup

Once footings and slab are down, we clear the site so frame stage starts on a clean pad.

What slab cleanup covers

After the pour there is always spoil from the trenches, offcuts from the formwork, mesh ends, packaging and general waste sitting around the edges. We clear the lot and take it away.

  • Spoil cleared from trench edges and around the slab
  • Formwork offcuts, pegs and stripped timber removed
  • Mesh ends, bar offcuts and tie wire collected
  • Packaging, bags and general waste cleared
  • Slab and surrounds swept down ready for the framers

Timed around the pour, not after everyone has complained

The useful time for a slab cleanup is the gap between the concreter finishing and the frame arriving. Tell us your pour date and we will book the clean into that window, so the framers walk onto a clear site instead of working around a pile.

Inspection ready

A tidy slab is easier to inspect and easier to sign off. We leave the working area clear so nothing gets held up over something as avoidable as site condition.
