What site preparation covers

Site preparation is everything that happens before the concreter arrives. We clear the block of vegetation, rubble, old fencing and any leftover structures, then get it into a state where plant can move around safely.

• General tidy so set-out can be marked cleanly

Why it matters to your program

A block that has not been properly cleared costs you time at the worst possible point, right at the start. Your surveyor cannot set out cleanly, your concreter cannot get plant in and every day of delay pushes the whole program back.

Getting it done properly before anyone else arrives means the rest of the build starts on schedule instead of catching up.
